What we need and why
Pulso Europe BV is a Controller of the personal data you (data subject) provide us.
Pulso may collect the following types of personal data from you to contract you in Pulso's counselor network:
- Names and contact details
- Gender
- Occupation
- Client accounts and records
- Professional background
- Licensing and credentials
- Practice information
- Experience and expertise
Pulso processes your information for contractual purposes to which the data subject
is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.
As the data subject you may refuse or decline to provide personal data, or in certain cases
you may be obliged to provide the personal data. Refusing or declining to provide the required
personal data may have certain consequences to the performance or provision of services or products
provided by Pulso where the collection of personal data is a statutory or contractual requirement,
or a requirement necessary to enter into a contract.
What we do with your information
Pulso uses your information to:
- set up and enter into a contract
- create an account on APPA
- publicize your professional details and contact information on APPA to clients
- allow APPA clients to contact you through APPA to schedule counselling sessions
- allow EAP case managers to contact you to refer EAP clients
What we do with your information
Pulso stores your financial information up to 7 yaars due to fiscal law.
Pulso stores your professional information up to 30 years due to liability law.
What are your rights?
As a data subject, you have the following rights concerning the processing of your personal data based on contractual necessity:
- Right to Access: You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Rectification: You may request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Right to Erasure: Upon fulfilling contractual obligations, you may request the deletion of your personal data if there is no other legal basis for further processing.
- Right to Restriction of Processing: Under certain conditions, you may request the restriction of processing of your personal data.
- Right to Data Portability: You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and transmit it to another controller.
- Right to Lodge a Complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority if you believe your rights have been violated.

Complaints
In the event that you wish to file a complaint about how we have handled your personal data, please contact the Data Protection Officer at dpo@pulso-group.com.
Our Data Protection Officer will then look into your complaint and work with you to resolve the matter.
If you still feel that your personal data has not been handled appropriately according to the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
